Video feedback can enhance and personalise the feedback you can provide to students on their written work. Lesley says that students have told her it is “Just like sitting with the teacher”.
A screencast is a video recording of what is on a computer screen, enhanced with audio narration. Lesley will explain the advantages of providing feedback using video and assist you to learn the main techniques for screen-casting. Using a mobile tablet app, you’ll capture a recording of yourself talking through the student’s work, while writing directly on the student’s work directly on the screen. We will also look at the many other uses of screen-casting in and out of the classroom, on tablets or PCs.
